InfoComm 2017

InfoComm 2017 is to see a host of exciting new Pro AV additions to WyreStorm’s NetworkHD 4K over IP and HDBaseT lines unveiled.

Roll up to the greatest Pro AV show on earth!  The InfoComm circus rolls into town June 14-16 and WyreStorm booth #3275 is set to put on a real show by debuting three new 4K over IP technologies in the NetworkHD line, five new multi-format transmission cards for H2X modular HDBaseT video and audio matrix switchers and a whole lot more!

New to the NetworkHD H.264 platform low bandwidth 200 Series comes the NHD-210-RX decoder offering video wall processing up to 16x16 and multi-view, the NHD-230-TX windowing processor and NHD-300-TX WAN streaming encoder.

The incredibly low latency JPEG2000 platform 400 Series brings amazing, visually lossless 4K over IP to the NetworkHD line.  Supporting HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 and HDR video, image-scaling for mixed 2K/4K installations, multichannel audio and audio matrixing, 16x16 video wall with image flipping and portrait walls, the 400 Series is the ideal AV over IP solution for commercial and residential applications.

Also getting its global unveiling at InfoComm 2017, the NetworkHD 600 Series 10Gb 4K over IP encoder and decoder based on the AptoVision BlueRiver platform for cutting edge uncompressed SDVoE 4K with zero latency 4K transmissions over a network.  With seamless switching of all HDMI formats up to 4K/60Hz 4:4:4 and HDR, the 600 Series represents the pinnacle of AV over IP technology for mission critical applications for military, medical and education sectors and high end residential applications.

All products within the NetworkHD ecosystem are compatible with the revolutionary free NetworkHD Touch iPad app for live previews, drag and drop selection and access to entire NetworkHD systems.

WyreStorm’s InfoComm 2017 booth will also feature a “transmission shoot-out” offering side-by-side comparison of each of WyreStorm’s 4K HDBaseT and AV over IP technologies.  Attendees to the WyreStorm booth are encouraged to judge for themselves which solution they prefer for their commercial applications, with WyreStorm tech experts on hand to explain features and the differences between the technologies.

Though leading the way in AV over IP, WyreStorm also remains the premiere HDBaseT manufacturer in the industry with InfoComm 2017 the venue to reveal a further five multi-format modular transmission cards for the newly launched H2X Series of HDBaseT 5Play 10x10 and 16x16 4K HDR video and integrated audio matrix switcher series.

Already including an optional HDBaseT Input card for distribution of a remote source, the new H2X cards aim to provide unrivalled flexibility of transmission through an H2X matrix switcher by expanding either its video or audio capabilities or by supporting specific transmission technologies that open up new applications for H2X distribution.  A multimode fiber output card enables 4K UHD 4:4:4@60hz up to a massive 300m/984ft.  An HDMI In to HDBaseT out card offers slight compression to support 4K HDR 10-bit @60Hz within the HDBaseT bandwidth.  Finally, an SDI Input card featuring balanced input/output audio to support pro AV video applications such as broadcast, pro monitoring and event cameras.  By combining with the RX-70-4K-SCL scaling receiver, also on display at InfoComm 2017, commercial projects are able to resolve the issue of mixing 4K and 2K sources and displays in an installation by downscaling 4K UHD content to 1080/720p or upscaling any incoming content to 4K/60 444 8-bit.

In addition to these exciting new developments exhibited at InfoComm for the first time, the WyreStorm booth will also be demonstrating multi-view presentation switching with in-desk HDMI and VGA connectivity with the WyreStorm SW-0402-MV; USB over HDBaseT in the form of its EX-100-4K-PRO extender and SP-0108-HDBT splitter; as well as presentation switching over HDBaseT and IP with wireless and wired screen mirroring via the WyreStorm SW-0501 with ScreenLink collaboration software.
