4K UltraHD is great, but when it comes to distributing to multiple zones matrix switching systems only want to output resolution compatible to ALL connected screens. 

While that’s no problem if you’re rocking 4K screens in all zones, but what about if you’ve just got the one? No matter how good your 4K display or projector is, the resulting picture resolution will likely be limited to the whatever is compatible with the rest of the HD zones.

Or how about if an installation contains a high-end 2K projector or screen that you want keep hold of rather than spending thousands on a 4K upgrade?

That’s where the WyreStorm RX-70-4K-SCL comes in.

When providing flawless AV distribution methods in any environment where one or more display devices doesn’t match the capabilities of the rest of the system, this receiver makes for the perfect solution.

The powerful scaling abilities of the RX-70-4K-SCL allow for upscaling or downscaling video content to match the resolution of a connected screen or projector. Incoming video content can be upscaled to resolutions as high as 2160p, or downscaled to as low as 576p.

But it’s not just in the video department where it excels. The RX-70-4K-SCL includes analog and S/PDIF outputs that enable audio to be de-embedded from the source and sent to a local audio system. And even further control of audio is available with the ability to receive ARC from the display and sent over HDBaseT to the compatible transmitter or matrix.

What’s more, when it comes to control, the receiver features bi-directional IR, RS-232 and CEC triggering for a host of options to easily control both sources and displays from a remote location with just a tap of a button.
