Overview

Introducing the H2L Series Class B HDBaseT additions to the award-winning WyreStorm matrix switcher line available in 6x6 and 8x8 models with attention firmly placed on offering increased value to the residential integrator while maintaining the highest quality of AV distribution.

Available from 24th April 2017, H2L Series matrix switchers offer excellent value without compromising quality of distribution by building upon the success of its popular H2 Class A HDBaseT sibling in terms of support for both 2K and 4K UHD video sources, including HDR, HDCP.2.2 and multichannel audio up to DTS:X and Dolby Atmos.  But by utilizing Class B HDBaseT technology for transmission distance up to 35m/115ft for 4K and 70m/230ft for 1080p, the H2L opens up the world of HDBaseT matrix distribution at a lower price point for integrators of small to medium-sized residential projects containing the latest 4K UHD sources and displays.

The H2L combines residential-focused features such as HDR at 10-bit for superior image quality and PoH to remotely power receivers to eliminate the need for local power supplies at display locations, thereby reducing layers of connectivity and potential points of failure in a system while making for a more flexible and convenient install.

WyreStorm’s QuickSync™ instant switching is also included for uncompressed single frame end-to-end latency, as well as WyreStorm’s new SmartEDID™ technology addresses the rise in mixed resolution installations with dynamic management of EDID signals from combined 1080p and 4K displays that combats the resolution conflicts within 2K/4K systems.

In terms of control, bidirectional IR pass-through offers source and sink control, RS-232 supports WyreStorm Enado and other major third party control systems, and an embedded Web UI enables setup, configuration and matrix switching all within a simple, easy to use interface accessible from a computer or laptop.

Big on features, even bigger on value, the H2L offers AV signal distribution and control to shout about for the more modest home and budget.
