WyreStorm's 4 and 8 Way Cat5ei/6/7 Splitters are cost effective replication and distribution of HD transmissions - are ideal for small commercial and multi-dwelling installations.
The SP-UTP-0104 and SP-UTP-0108 both offer single HD source distribution, providing uncompressed true HD distribution over long distances using Cat5e/6/7 cabling, with the ability to control the source from display locations.

The Wyrestorm SP-UTP0108  is a one-input, eight-output HDMI splitter that distributes a connected HDMI source over distance to eight identical syncronised outputs - one HDMI, seven Cat5ei/6/7 UTP outputs up to 50m / 164ft under perfect conditions* including IR control of the source.

The SP-UTP0108 also buffers, amplifies and equalises the signal to ensure optimum transmission and reception over the length of the cable run without any loss in video/audio quality.

Adjustable EDID DIP settings encourages communication between devices to avoid compatibility issues during installation.

Compact for unobtrusive installations, the SP-UTP-0108 offers control of the HD source via the IR emitter port and is also fully cascadable so multiple units may be combined to create a larger HD distribution.

*Perfect transmission condidtions denotes straight cable runs with no electrical interference, bends, kinks, patch panels or wall outlets.  The above conditions may adversely effect signal distribution and reduce the length of transmission.
